Quick Summary

ResponseIQ is a web-based application that runs in your browser. It is compatible with all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. This article covers supported browsers, requirements, and troubleshooting steps for browser-related issues.

Supported Browsers

ResponseIQ is tested and fully supported on the current and previous two major versions of the following browsers:

BrowserMinimum VersionNotes
Google ChromeVersion 90+Recommended browser. Receives the most testing.
Mozilla FirefoxVersion 90+Fully supported with all features.
Apple SafariVersion 15+Supported on macOS and iOS.
Microsoft EdgeVersion 90+Chromium-based Edge is fully supported.

Important

Internet Explorer is not supported. If you are using Internet Explorer, please switch to one of the supported browsers listed above. Legacy versions of Edge (non-Chromium) are also not supported.

Technical Requirements

For ResponseIQ to function properly, your browser must meet the following technical requirements:

  • JavaScript must be enabled — ResponseIQ is a JavaScript-powered web application. If JavaScript is disabled in your browser settings, the application will not load.
  • Cookies must be enabled — at minimum, first-party cookies must be allowed for the ResponseIQ domain. These are required for authentication and session management.
  • TLS 1.2 or higher — your browser must support modern encryption standards. All supported browsers meet this requirement by default.
  • Stable internet connection — ResponseIQ requires an active internet connection to sync data and communicate with our servers.

Clearing Your Browser Cache

If you experience unexpected behavior in ResponseIQ — such as the interface not loading, buttons not responding, or stale data being displayed — clearing your browser cache and cookies is often the quickest fix. Cached files from a previous version of the application can sometimes cause conflicts with the current version.

  1. Open your browser settings. In most browsers, you can access this from the three-dot or hamburger menu in the top-right corner.
  2. Navigate to the privacy or history section.
  3. Select the option to clear browsing data, cached images and files, and cookies.
  4. Choose to clear data for the ResponseIQ domain specifically if your browser supports site-specific clearing. Otherwise, clear all cached data.
  5. Close and reopen your browser, then navigate to ResponseIQ and log in again.

Pro Tip

If you do not want to clear all of your cached data, try opening ResponseIQ in an incognito or private browsing window first. If the issue does not occur in incognito mode, the problem is likely caused by cached data or a browser extension.

Browser Extensions and Conflicts

Certain browser extensions can interfere with ResponseIQ's functionality. Ad blockers, script blockers, and privacy extensions are the most common culprits. If you experience issues, try temporarily disabling your extensions to see if one of them is causing the problem.

  • Ad blockers (uBlock Origin, AdBlock Plus) — may block API requests that ResponseIQ needs to function. Try adding ResponseIQ to your ad blocker's whitelist.
  • Script blockers (NoScript, ScriptSafe) — will prevent ResponseIQ from loading entirely since the application requires JavaScript. Allow scripts from the ResponseIQ domain.
  • Privacy extensions (Privacy Badger, Ghostery) — may block analytics or cookie functionality. Whitelist the ResponseIQ domain if you experience issues.
  • VPN browser extensions — can sometimes cause network request failures. Try disabling your VPN extension temporarily to test.
