Email Not Received

Quick Summary

If you are not receiving emails from ResponseIQ — whether they are notification alerts, password resets, or support ticket updates — this article walks you through the most common causes and how to fix them.

Check Your Spam or Junk Folder

The most common reason for missing emails is that they are being caught by your email provider's spam filter. Email filters can sometimes flag automated emails from new senders, especially if you have not previously received email from ResponseIQ.

  1. Open your email client (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.).
  2. Navigate to the Spam or Junk folder.
  3. Search for emails from noreply@responseiq.io.
  4. If you find ResponseIQ emails in spam, mark them as "Not Spam" to train your email provider to deliver future emails to your inbox.

Verify Your Email Address in Settings

Emails are sent to the address registered on your ResponseIQ account. If your email address has changed or was entered incorrectly during registration, you will not receive any emails.

  1. Log in to your ResponseIQ dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Settings and click the Account tab.
  3. Check the email address shown under your profile. Make sure it is correct and current.
  4. If the email is incorrect, update it and click "Save Changes." A verification email will be sent to the new address.

Important

If you cannot log in and suspect your email address is incorrect, contact support@responseiq.io from the email you believe you used during registration. Our team can help verify and update your account email.

Check Your Notification Toggles

ResponseIQ allows you to enable or disable specific email notification types from the Settings page. If you are not receiving certain types of emails, the corresponding notification toggle may be turned off.

  1. Navigate to Settings from the sidebar menu.
  2. Click on the Notifications tab.
  3. Review each notification toggle to ensure the ones you want are enabled.
  4. Common toggles include: New review alerts, AI response ready notifications, weekly summary emails, and support ticket updates.
  5. Enable any toggles that are turned off and click "Save Changes."

Whitelist Our Email Address

To ensure ResponseIQ emails always reach your inbox, add our sending address to your email contacts or whitelist. This tells your email provider to always deliver emails from this address to your inbox rather than filtering them.

Add noreply@responseiq.io to your email contacts or safe senders list. The process for doing this varies by email provider:

  • Gmail — open a ResponseIQ email, click the three-dot menu, and select "Add to contacts." Alternatively, create a filter to never send emails from noreply@responseiq.io to spam.
  • Outlook — right-click a ResponseIQ email and select "Add to Safe Senders." Or go to Settings, then Mail, then Junk Email, and add the address to your safe senders list.
  • Yahoo Mail — open a ResponseIQ email, click the three-dot menu, and select "Add sender to contacts."
  • Corporate email — if your company uses a corporate email system with strict filtering, ask your IT administrator to whitelist noreply@responseiq.io at the server level.

Pro Tip

If you are using a corporate email system and your IT department requires SPF or DKIM verification details for whitelisting, contact support@responseiq.io and we can provide the necessary records.
