Review Filters and Search
Quick Summary
ResponseIQ provides filtering and search tools to help you find specific reviews quickly, especially when managing multiple locations with high review volumes. You can filter by location, star rating, status, and date range, and control pagination to suit your workflow.
Available Filters
The Reviews page includes a filter bar at the top that lets you narrow down the visible reviews. You can combine multiple filters simultaneously to find exactly what you are looking for.
| Filter | Options | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Location | All locations or a specific location | Limits reviews to a single Google Business Profile location. Useful for multi-location businesses. |
| Star Rating | 1 star, 2 stars, 3 stars, 4 stars, 5 stars | Shows only reviews with the selected star rating. You can select multiple ratings. |
| Status | Pending, Approved, Published, Skipped | Filters by the review's current workflow status. |
| Date Range | Custom start and end dates | Shows reviews that were posted within the specified date range. |
Using Filters Effectively
Filters are applied immediately when you select them, and the review list updates in real time. Here are some common filter combinations for everyday tasks:
- Daily review queue — filter by Status: Pending to see all reviews awaiting your approval.
- Negative review audit — filter by Star Rating: 1-3 stars to review all negative feedback across locations.
- Location-specific check — filter by Location to see how a particular store or office is performing.
- Monthly reporting — use the Date Range filter to see all reviews from a specific month.
- Published verification — filter by Status: Published to confirm that responses went out as expected.
Pro Tip
Your most recently applied filters are remembered between sessions. When you return to the Reviews page, your previous filter settings will still be active. Click "Clear Filters" to reset to the default view.
Pagination Controls
The review list is paginated to keep the page responsive, even when you have hundreds or thousands of reviews. You can control how many reviews appear per page using the pagination dropdown.
| Reviews Per Page | Best For |
|---|---|
| 10 | Quick scans and focused review sessions. |
| 20 | Balanced view — the default setting for most users. |
| 50 | Batch review sessions where you want to see more reviews at once. |
Use the previous and next page buttons at the bottom of the review list to navigate between pages. The current page number and total review count are displayed alongside the controls.
Sorting Reviews
In addition to filtering, you can sort the review list by different criteria. The default sort order is newest first (by review date). You can also sort by star rating (lowest or highest first) to prioritize certain reviews. Sorting works in combination with any active filters.
