Downgrading Your Plan

Quick Summary

Downgrade a location from Premium to Basic when you no longer need advanced features. The downgrade is scheduled for the end of your current billing period — you keep Premium access until then, and you can cancel the pending downgrade if you change your mind.

How to Downgrade

  1. Navigate to Settings > Billing.
  2. Find the location you want to downgrade and click "Change Plan".
  3. Select "Basic" from the plan options.
  4. Review the scheduled change date. The downgrade will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  5. Click "Confirm Downgrade" to schedule the change.

What Happens During the Transition

Unlike upgrades, downgrades are not applied immediately. You continue to enjoy all Premium features — including the 300-response quota, custom prompts, and the approval workflow — until the last day of your current billing period. On the next billing date, the location switches to the Basic plan and is charged the Basic rate.

Important

When the downgrade takes effect, any responses sitting in the approval queue will be automatically published as-is. Make sure to clear your approval queue before the transition date.

What You Lose on Basic

After the downgrade takes effect, the following Premium features are disabled for the location:

  • Monthly quota drops from 300 to 100 AI responses.
  • Edit and regenerate buttons are removed from the review detail page.
  • Custom prompt instructions per star rating are saved but not applied — the AI uses default preferences only.
  • Require-approval toggle is turned off; all auto-replies publish immediately.
  • Additional review packs cannot be purchased.
  • Support requests return to standard priority.

Canceling a Pending Downgrade

If you change your mind, go back to Settings > Billing and click "Cancel Downgrade" next to the location. The scheduled change is removed, and your Premium subscription continues uninterrupted. You can cancel a pending downgrade at any time before the billing period ends.
