Upgrading Your Plan
Quick Summary
Upgrade a location from Basic to Premium at any time. The upgrade takes effect immediately, billing is prorated, and you gain instant access to all Premium features including higher quotas, custom prompts, and the approval workflow.
How to Upgrade
- Navigate to Settings > Billing.
- Find the location you want to upgrade and click "Change Plan".
- Select "Premium" from the plan options.
- Review the prorated charge. Stripe calculates the difference between what you have already paid for the current period and the Premium price for the remaining days.
- Click "Confirm Upgrade". Payment is processed immediately.
Prorated Billing Explained
When you upgrade mid-cycle, you are only charged the difference for the remaining days. For example, if you are 15 days into a 30-day Basic billing cycle ($29.99/mo) and upgrade to Premium ($49.99/mo), you have already paid for 15 unused Basic days. Stripe credits that amount and charges you the Premium rate for the remaining 15 days. The net charge is roughly $10 for that partial period.
Note
The exact prorated amount is displayed on the confirmation screen before you approve the upgrade. There are no hidden fees.
What Changes Immediately
The moment the upgrade is confirmed, the following changes take effect:
- Your AI response quota increases to 300 for the current billing period. Already-used responses are counted against the new limit.
- You can edit and regenerate AI responses from the review detail page.
- Custom prompt instructions per star rating become available in Location Settings.
- The require-approval toggle is unlocked in Location Settings.
- You gain access to purchase additional review packs.
- Support requests are routed to the priority queue.
Upgrading on Annual Billing
If your location is on an annual Basic plan, upgrading to Premium follows the same prorated logic. Stripe credits the unused portion of your annual Basic payment and charges the Premium annual rate for the remaining months. The upgrade still takes effect immediately.
