How the AI Analyzes Your Reviews
When a new review arrives, ResponseIQ feeds several pieces of context into the GPT-4 model to produce the best possible response. The AI does not use pre-written templates. Every reply is generated from scratch based on the unique combination of inputs for that review.
- Review text: The full body of the customer's review, including specific mentions of products, services, staff, or experiences.
- Star rating: The AI adjusts its tone and approach based on whether the review is positive (4-5 stars), neutral (3 stars), or negative (1-2 stars).
- Industry context: Your Google Business Profile category tells the AI what kind of business you operate, allowing it to use appropriate terminology.
- Your settings: Tone, length, language, and any custom instructions you have configured are all factored in.
What Makes Each Response Unique
Unlike simple template systems that swap in reviewer names and a few keywords, ResponseIQ generates genuinely unique responses. Even if two customers leave similar 5-star reviews, the AI will produce different replies with varied phrasing, structure, and specific references to the review content.

ResponseIQ supports over 12 languages for response generation. When you set a language preference, the AI generates the entire response natively in that language rather than translating from English. This produces more natural, fluent replies that feel authentic to native speakers.
Speed and Reliability
AI responses are typically generated within 5-10 seconds of a new review being synced. The system processes reviews sequentially per location to ensure consistency. If the AI service experiences a temporary issue, the review is queued and retried automatically.

Generated responses are not published immediately. They enter a 15-minute review window (or your configured delay) so you can review and edit them before they go live on Google.
