Quick Summary
ResponseIQ can generate AI responses in over 12 languages, allowing you to reply to customers in their preferred language. The AI writes natively in the selected language rather than translating from English, producing more natural and fluent responses.
Supported Languages
ResponseIQ currently supports the following languages for AI response generation:

Setting Your Language
- Navigate to Settings from the left sidebar.
- Scroll to "AI Response Preferences."
- Select your preferred language from the Language dropdown.
- Click Save.
Note
The language setting is per location. If you operate locations in different countries, you can set each one to the appropriate local language.
Native Generation vs. Translation
An important distinction: ResponseIQ does not generate a response in English and then translate it. The AI generates the response directly in your chosen language. This means the phrasing, idioms, and sentence structure are natural for that language. For example, a Spanish response will use appropriate formality conventions and regional expressions rather than sounding like a word-for-word translation.
Pro Tip
If your customers write reviews in multiple languages, consider setting your response language to match the most common language of your reviewers. The AI will respond in the configured language regardless of the language the review was written in.
Right-to-Left Language Support
Arabic and other right-to-left (RTL) languages are fully supported. The AI generates the response text in the correct direction, and when published to Google, the response displays properly in RTL format. The ResponseIQ dashboard also renders RTL text correctly when previewing responses.
Requesting Additional Languages
If you need a language that is not currently listed, please contact our support team. We regularly evaluate requests and add new languages based on demand. Since the underlying AI model supports many languages, adding new options is typically straightforward.
