Quick Wins and Recommendations
Quick Summary
Quick Wins are actionable recommendations that you can implement immediately with minimal effort. Marked with a lightning bolt icon, these suggestions are designed to produce noticeable improvements in your customer experience and review ratings without requiring major operational changes.
What Are Quick Wins?
Quick Wins are a curated subset of improvement suggestions that the AI identifies as low-effort, high-impact actions. Unlike broader improvement areas that may require operational overhauls, Quick Wins are things you can act on today. They are marked with a lightning bolt icon in the Insights dashboard for easy identification.
The AI generates Quick Wins by analyzing improvement areas and filtering for issues that have clear, simple solutions. For example, if multiple customers mention that your hours are listed incorrectly online, that is a Quick Win because it can be fixed in minutes.
Examples of Quick Wins
Quick Wins vary by industry and the specific feedback your business receives. Here are some common examples:
- Update business hours on your Google listing to match actual hours of operation.
- Add clearer signage for parking or building entrance based on customer confusion.
- Respond to all unanswered reviews from the past month to show you value feedback.
- Train staff on a specific greeting or farewell based on customer comments about friendliness.
- Add a menu item or product that multiple customers have requested.
- Fix a recurring issue with your phone system or voicemail that customers mention.
- Update your Google Business Profile photos if customers mention the location looks different in person.
How Quick Wins Are Prioritized
Quick Wins are ranked by expected impact. The items at the top of the list are those the AI believes will produce the most noticeable improvement in customer satisfaction for the least effort. Prioritization factors include the number of reviews mentioning the issue, the correlation with low ratings, and the simplicity of the fix.
Pro Tip
Try to implement at least one Quick Win per week. Small, consistent improvements compound over time and can significantly improve your overall rating and customer satisfaction.
Acting on Quick Wins
Each Quick Win includes a brief description of the issue and a suggested action. To get the most value from Quick Wins:
- Review the Quick Wins list in your Insights dashboard.
- Identify which items you can address immediately.
- Implement the change in your business operations or online presence.
- Monitor new reviews over the following weeks to see if the issue is mentioned less frequently.
- Check your next insights regeneration to see if the Quick Win has been resolved.
When Quick Wins Disappear
As you address Quick Wins and new reviews stop mentioning those issues, they will automatically disappear from your list in the next insights regeneration. This is a positive signal that your actions are having the desired effect. New Quick Wins may appear as the AI identifies other opportunities for improvement based on the latest reviews.
Note
If a Quick Win persists across multiple insights regenerations despite your efforts to address it, the issue may be more deeply rooted than initially assessed. Consider treating it as a full improvement area and developing a more comprehensive plan.
