Disconnecting a Location

Last updated: 2026-02-19·3 min read

Quick Summary

You can disconnect a location from ReviewPilot at any time. The subscription for that location is canceled, but your historical review data and response history are retained for future reference.

How to Disconnect a Location

  1. Navigate to Settings > Locations.
  2. Find the location you want to remove and click the three-dot menu on its card.
  3. Select "Disconnect Location" from the dropdown.
  4. A confirmation dialog will appear explaining what will happen. Review the details carefully.
  5. Type the location name to confirm and click "Disconnect".

Important

Disconnecting a location immediately stops all auto-replies and pending responses for that location. Any responses in the approval queue will be discarded.

What Happens to Your Subscription

When you disconnect a location, the subscription for that specific location is canceled at the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again for that location. If you are mid-cycle, you retain access until the period ends, but auto-reply and new AI responses are disabled immediately upon disconnection.

What Happens to Your Data

All historical data is retained indefinitely. This includes synced reviews, AI-generated responses, published responses, analytics history, and location settings. If you reconnect the same location later, your previous data will be available and linked to the new subscription.

Note

Retained data does not count against any quota or storage limit. There is no cost to keeping historical data from disconnected locations.

Reconnecting a Location

To reconnect a previously disconnected location, follow the standard Add Location flow. When ReviewPilot detects that the location was previously connected, it offers to restore your prior settings and link the historical data. You will need to choose a new plan and complete checkout as if adding a fresh location.
