Your account settings let you update your personal information, change your password, and manage your profile details. Keeping your account information current ensures you receive important notifications and that your team members can identify you correctly within ResponseIQ.

Updating Your Name and Email

Your name and email address are displayed throughout the ResponseIQ dashboard, including in team member lists, activity logs, and notification emails. You can update either of these at any time from the Account Settings page.

  1. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
  2. Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Update your first name, last name, or email address in the corresponding fields.
  4. Click Save to apply your changes.

Important

If you change your email address, you will need to verify the new email before it takes effect. A verification link will be sent to the new address. Your old email will remain active until verification is complete.

Updating Your Company Name

Your company name appears on your account profile and is used in certain notification emails and reports. This is separate from the individual location names associated with your Google Business Profiles. Updating your company name here does not affect your Google Business Profile listings.

Note

The company name field is optional but recommended. It helps organize your account, especially if you manage locations across multiple brands or franchises.

Changing Your Password

You can change your password at any time from the Account Settings page. For security, you must enter your current password before setting a new one.

  1. Navigate to Account Settings.
  2. Scroll to the "Change Password" section.
  3. Enter your current password in the first field.
  4. Enter your new password in the second field. Passwords must be at least 6 characters long.
  5. Confirm your new password by entering it again.
  6. Click "Update Password" to save.

Pro Tip

Choose a password that is at least 6 characters long and combines letters, numbers, and symbols for better security. Avoid using the same password you use for other services.

Profile Management Best Practices

Keeping your profile information accurate helps your team and ensures you receive all important communications from ResponseIQ. Here are some recommendations:

  • Use a professional email address that you check regularly, as all notifications and alerts are sent there.
  • Keep your name up to date so team members can easily identify you in activity logs and review histories.
  • Update your company name if your business undergoes a rebrand or organizational change.
  • Change your password periodically and immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
