Why Timezone Matters
ResponseIQ uses your timezone setting to schedule time-sensitive communications. Review reminder emails are sent at 9 AM and 5 PM in your configured timezone, aligning with the start and end of a typical business day. If your timezone is incorrect, you may receive reminders at inconvenient hours.
Note
Your timezone setting does not affect when reviews are synced or when AI responses are generated. Those processes run continuously regardless of timezone. The timezone only affects the delivery timing of scheduled notifications and reminders.

How to Change Your Timezone
- Navigate to Settings from the left sidebar.
- Scroll to the "Timezone" section.
- Select your timezone from the dropdown menu.
- Click Save to apply the change.
Pro Tip
If you manage locations across multiple timezones, set your timezone to the one where you personally work. Reminder emails are sent to your inbox based on your account timezone, not the timezone of each individual location.
Impact on Reminder Delivery
When you set your timezone, ResponseIQ calculates the exact moments corresponding to 9 AM and 5 PM in that timezone and schedules your review reminder emails accordingly. If you change your timezone, the next reminder will be sent at the new local time.
- 9 AM reminder: Delivered at the start of your business day. Contains a summary of pending reviews that need attention.
- 5 PM reminder: Delivered near the end of your business day. A final check-in to ensure no reviews are left unaddressed before you finish for the day.
Important
Daylight saving time transitions are handled automatically. You do not need to update your timezone setting when clocks change. The system adjusts delivery times to stay aligned with your local clock.
