Privacy settings give you control over how long ResponseIQ retains your data, the ability to export all of your data, and the option to permanently delete your account. These controls help you comply with data regulations and manage your information according to your preferences.
Data Retention Options
You can choose how long ResponseIQ stores your review data, AI-generated responses, and analytics history. The retention setting applies to all data associated with your account.

Important
Data deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once data exceeds your chosen retention period, it is automatically removed and cannot be recovered. Consider exporting your data before reducing your retention period.
Exporting Your Data
You can request a full export of all data associated with your ResponseIQ account at any time. The export includes your reviews, AI-generated responses, analytics data, settings, team member information, and insights history.
- Navigate to Settings from the left sidebar.
- Scroll to the "Privacy" section.
- Click the "Export My Data" button.
- You will receive an email with a download link once the export is ready. This typically takes a few minutes for smaller accounts and up to an hour for accounts with large volumes of data.
Note
Data exports are provided in a standard format that can be opened with common spreadsheet and database tools. The export includes all locations, reviews, responses, and account configuration data.
Deleting Your Account
If you no longer wish to use ResponseIQ, you can permanently delete your account. This action removes all of your data, disconnects all Google Business Profiles, and cancels any active subscription.
- Navigate to Settings from the left sidebar.
- Scroll to the "Privacy" section.
- Click the "Delete Account" button.
- You will be asked to confirm by typing your email address.
- Click "Permanently Delete" to proceed.
Important
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All reviews, responses, settings, team members, and analytics data will be permanently removed. Responses already published to Google will remain on Google, but ResponseIQ will no longer manage them. Export your data before deleting your account if you may need it in the future.
Data Privacy Compliance
ResponseIQ is designed to support your data privacy obligations. The data export and account deletion features help you comply with data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. If you receive a data access or deletion request from a customer whose review data is stored in ResponseIQ, you can use these tools to respond appropriately.

If you manage locations in the European Union, consider setting your data retention period to align with your organization's GDPR data retention policy. This helps ensure automated compliance without requiring manual data cleanup.
